PRODUCT WARNINGS:

Do not use:- for children under 18 years of age.- if allergic to esomeprazole.- if allergic to any other proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole).- if you are taking antiretroviral medicines, such as atazanavir.- if you are taking cilostazol a medicine used to treat pain and/or cramping in the lower leg (or arms) due to inadequate blood flow to the muscles.- if you are breastfeeding or intend to breastfeed.- -f you are experiencing weight loss, persistent regurgitation of food or vomiting, difficulty swallowing or symptoms of gastro-intestinal bleeding, except on medical advice- if you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant except on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist- if the expiry date printed on the pack has passed. Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.

20mg/10ml tablet taken with juice.

Swallow the gastro-resistant tablet whole with a full glass of water. You may take this medicine for longer if you have to use it.

Dosage: In capsule form. In tablet form. In capsule form. In granules, disintegrating in the mouth, with or without food. Dissolve 20 mg in a glass of normal saline three times a day. Use at least 5 mL of a suspension equivalent to 10 mg/mL esomeprazole. After administration, the suspension should be shaken well, and the solution should be allowed to dissolve completely. The granules should be swallowed whole. Do not chew, crush, or split the granules. If they are broken, they should be discarded. The granules should be protected from light and moisture and stored at room temperature.
