Tell your doctor if your child develops stomach or intestinal symptoms while using Nexium 24HR. For example, your child may develop a sore, black stools or develop a stomach or intestinal ulcer when using acid-suppressing medications (e.g. NSAIDs such as ibuprofen). Tell your doctor if your child is being treated for stomach or intestinal ulcers. The stomach or intestinal ulcer may be caused by an infection.
Tell your doctor or dentist that you use this medicine if you are using the pain-killing medicine ibuprofen to treat or prevent ulcers. Your child may need to use Nexium 24HR for stomach ulcers.
